Accessibility
Accessibility statement
What this site does to be usable by everyone, how it is tested, and how to tell us when it falls short.
Our target
This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at Level AA. That is a floor rather than an ambition: the people this practice serves include those managing anxiety, fatigue, and difficulty concentrating, and an interface that is tiring to use is a barrier to care.
What that means in practice
- Every colour pairing used on this site is verified programmatically against WCAG contrast requirements, not judged by eye.
- The whole site is operable by keyboard, and the focus indicator is always visible.
- Animation is disabled automatically when your device requests reduced motion.
- The site works without JavaScript. Navigation, the FAQ, and all crisis information remain fully usable.
- Body text is set at 17px with generous line height, and text reflows without loss of content up to 400% zoom.
- Interactive targets are at least 44px.
- Images carry meaningful alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
Known limitations
The appointment request form is hosted by a third party and its accessibility is outside our control. If you have difficulty with it, call the practice and the appointment can be arranged by phone instead.
Tell us
If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, contact the practice by phone or email and it will be fixed. You should never have to fight a website to reach care.
